I enjoy providing clients with an exceptional and unique massage session. This is why I incorporate a variety of techniques from multiple modalities to create a one of a kind experience.

Swedish Massage focuses on muscle relaxation, targeting superficial muscle layers, and improved circulation. It consists of soft, long, kneading strokes. This is also combined with mobilizing joints and light tapotement penetrating the most superficial muscle layers. The combination of techniques allows clients to leave a session feeling relaxed and energized. Benefits of Swedish massage can include increased blood circulation, pain management, improved flexibility and range of motion, reduced stress, and an improved immune system.

Sports Massage is geared towards everybody, really, from world class athletes to the weekend warriors. Each session will focus on targeting specific muscle groups utilized during the client’s activity of choice. It works as a great tool in preparation of events, to reduce recovery time after an injury, and to help maximize the performance of the client. Deep tissue, joint mobilization, and stretching are all used to help promote flexibility, reduce muscle fatigue, improve range of motion, improve endurance, and help the athlete reach their peak performance levels.

Deep Tissue massage is similar to Swedish massage, but focuses on penetrating the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia- the connective tissue, primarily collagen, that attaches, stabilizes, encloses, and separates muscles and other internal organs.

Prenatal Massage is a great way for expecting mothers to relax and find relief from many of the discomforts associated with pregnancy. Extra care is taken to ensure comfort and safety. Side lying positioning is used along with supportive cushions and bolsters to alleviate extra strain on the lower back and pelvic area. Massage has been known to reduce back pain, leg cramps, headaches, edema (swelling). Additionally, prenatal massage reduces stress on weight- bearing joints, encourages blood and lymph circulation, relieves symptoms of depression and anxiety, and aids in better sleep.
